BestCalculator.app ("we," "our," or "us") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what happens when you use our free, client-side calculators. It is published under the name BestCalculator.app. It does not name a separate legal entity, registered address, or data-protection officer, because those details are not published in this project.

Information We Collect

Personal Data

We do not require registration or an account. You can use all calculators without providing a name, email, or other personal data. If you voluntarily email us at [email protected], we receive whatever you include in that message (typically your email address and the message content) so we can reply.

Calculator Inputs

Calculations run in your browser. We do not operate an application backend that receives your loan amounts, weights, dates, or other calculator inputs. Health and finance results on this site are estimates for education and planning only; they are not medical or financial advice. See our Disclaimer.

Hosting

The site is hosted on Netlify. Like most static hosts, Netlify may process standard web-server request data (such as IP address, user agent, and requested URL) to deliver pages and protect the service. That is hosting infrastructure, not a BestCalculator.app analytics product or advertising pixel. We do not configure a separate analytics dashboard on top of the pages.

Third-Party Requests From Pages

The pages do not include Google AdSense, Google Analytics, or other advertising or analytics scripts. Calculations run in your browser. The currency converter requests exchange rates from the public API at api.exchangerate-api.com; that request goes from your browser to that provider, not to a BestCalculator.app application server. Pages also load fonts (and some tools load optional scripts such as PDF helpers) from third-party CDNs listed in each page’s content security policy.

Local Storage / Browser Storage

We use your browser’s local storage (not tracking cookies) for: (1) your theme preference (light or dark mode), (2) auto-save of calculator inputs on most tools so you can return later, (3) a calculation history kept on the device, capped at 100 entries, and (4) a flag when you accept the on-site storage notice. Age, BMI, body fat, calorie, calories burned, pregnancy, ovulation, and period calculators do not save inputs. This data stays on your device and is not sent to our servers. You can clear it in your browser settings.

Cookies & Storage Notice

There is no separate Cookie Policy page; this Privacy Policy covers storage. The site does not set advertising or analytics tracking cookies. A notice explains that theme and calculator auto-save use local storage. Accepting that notice only saves a local flag. It does not enable ads or analytics.

Use of Information

Disclosure of Information

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We do not share calculator inputs with advertising or analytics providers, because we do not receive those inputs on a BestCalculator.app server. We may disclose information you send us by email:

Your Choices & Rights

• You can clear theme, saved inputs, history, and the storage-notice flag in your browser settings. The calculators do not require an account.
• We do not sell personal information. Because we do not run an advertising or analytics network on this site, this policy does not invent a separate GDPR/CCPA opt-out portal, data-controller appointment, or ad-preference center that would not match real collection practices.
